As The Movie Guy, I have been a journalist for almost 9 years in Namibia, bringing pop culture and entertainment news to readers. Recently, I launched an independent magazine called The Movie Guyde, where I want to shine more light on the Namibian and South African film, TV and entertainment industry, while at the same time featuring extraordinary people from our communities. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I provide even more coverage and analysis of the latest entertainment news.
My love for cinema is what drives me to continue pursuing this career. I am constantly inspired by great filmmakers, such as Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, and Steven Spielberg, who have brought so many incredible stories to life on the big screen. Their passion for filmmaking motivates me to be the best journalist I can be, and to provide insightful coverage that truly captures the essence of the art form.
As an independent journalist, I am trying to make a living from this work, and all incentives and even sponsors will be greatly appreciated. With pop culture and cultural events like Comic Con Africa, Comic Con Cape Town, and Windhoek Oktoberfest on the horizon, I want to ensure that my coverage is the best it can be. I am dedicated to providing exciting news and coverage on all things entertainment, and with your support, I can continue to do so. Thank you for considering supporting my work, and don’t forget to check out my YouTube channel!
