It’s time for me to step out and take a risk, I guess that’s the only way I can move forward.
The last few years have been hard on me and it broke me into pieces, but I still have hope. I have hope that this year will change the course of my life. And that’s why I will be moving to a different place, a different city… A different country.
As of next week I will start as The Movie Guy in Cape Town. It’s not easy leaving Namibia behind, but it’s a change that I need to make. I don’t know how long I’ll be in the Mother City, all I know is that I have to do something different.
Namibia can’t provide me with the work I need, and apparently South Africa has exactly what I need. The good news is, I already have a few events lined up for the next 3 months at leas . This includes press screenings to films like Bob Marley: One Love, The Holdovers, Madame Web, Frankie en Felipe, Dune Part Two and many more. And I’ll also be at Comic Con Cape Town 2024.
This all seems exciting, but it’s not without challenges. I’m leaving Namibia on Friday with nothing but a bag of clothes, a notebook and a cellphone. That’s everything I need to attend to write reviews and record videos. With that hopes that I bring you the best unbiased and awesome movie content and reviews.
