Christmas has always been about more than gifts under a tree. It’s about generosity, community, and showing up for the things—and people—you believe in.
As the year comes to an end, I’ve been reflecting on what The Movie Guy has become and where it’s headed next, and I realised something simple: none of this exists without support. Over the past year, I’ve poured my time, energy, finances and passion into creating content.
I try to keep all my posts honest, fun, and made for people who genuinely love movies, TV, pop culture, and soon, gaming. From reviews and lists to giveaways and community conversations, The Movie Guy has never been about chasing trends—it’s been about building something real, consistent, and worth coming back to.
If you’ve enjoyed the content, shared a post, entered a giveaway, or even just stopped scrolling to read something I wrote, then you’ve already been part of this journey. Supporting me financially is simply another way to help this grow—to help me do more, reach further, and keep improving what I put out into the world.
Every bit of support goes a long way. It helps with equipment upgrades, software, travel to screenings and events, hosting giveaways, and most importantly, carving out the time needed to keep creating quality content that doesn’t compromise on honesty or passion.
