In about two weeks the biggest pop culture event on African soil returns and they’ve got a few amazing surprises for everyone.
Comic Con Africa is back and this year will be bigger than ever. There’s the main convention, the Kids Con return and there’s the new additions which includes StreetCon and StreamerCon. I’ll elaborate on these in a different post.
I want to talk about one of the most exciting parts of this year’s Comic Con, the international celebrities and other talent. Four celebrity actors have been announced and they will hang out with fans at this year’s event.
First there’s the Red Turbo Ranger, also known as the Blue Power Rangers in Space ranger, Selwyn Ward. Ward is one of the best to ever morph into a ranger and I can’t wait to meet him and talk about one of the best parts of the 90s and early 2000s.
Secondly we have an amazing actress, who took the world by storm over the last few years. She starred in You, Uncharted, the 100 and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Tati Gabrielle. Maybe she’ll tell us what Joe Goldberg will be up to next.
Then there is the superhero guy. Star of Shazam, and upcoming Shazam: Fury of the Gods and he also hungout with the kids from 13 Reasons Why, Ross Butler. This guy has a bright future and I love his work, maybe he’ll spill some DC secrets for us.
Lastly, the one I’m most excited for. He is probably the biggest villain of 2022. He kept us on the edge of our seats. You know him as Henry Creel, One aka Vecna from Stranger Things, Jamie Campbell Bower! I know he probably doesn’t know what will happen in Stranger Things 5 yet, but I’m just excited to meet the guy.
There will be many other celebrities and artists at the con, but for now prepare to meet these four amazing people.
