Comic Con Africa is in full swing. Day 1 has come and passed, and day 2 is halfway through.
It’s been a wonderful experience so far. I got to hangout at some insightful panels on content creating and streaming. I also got to see Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) from Stranger Things and that’s only the start. The convention has something for everyone, from the hardcore collector, to the casual geek and even just those looking to have some fun.
I’ve been networking with people in the media and from what I’ve learned I might even publish my own books soon (other than cookbooks). There’s also so much for the comic book movie lovers. I literally walked passed Deadpool, Spider-Man, and Harley Quinn several times.
This is a happy place for so many people, myself included. I get to do the work I love, while learning how to better myself and to have greater impact on the local media scene. You can go check out my day 1 recap video below and know that there’s a lot more to come.
I’m still struggling financially, as there are a lot of expenses. I still have to go back home after the convention and there are some expenses involved in that. I was also hoping to get better equipment to create the best possible content. If you’re able to sponsor me, then please find my banking details and contact details below. And of course I’ll give a shout out to each one of my sponsors.
Thank you for all the sponsorships and support so far, it’s because of you that I’ve made it this far. Keep your eyes on my social media pages to see new content soon.
