The wait for one of gaming’s biggest releases is officially entering the next phase, with Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders now live ahead of the game’s launch later this year.
Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI launches on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with players already able to lock in their copies.
For players wanting a little extra, Rockstar is also offering the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition, which expands on the experience with exclusive content including premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and additional extras woven into Jason and Lucia’s story.
Unlike some recent releases focused heavily on online modes, Grand Theft Auto VI is being positioned as a single-player experience, putting the spotlight squarely on its narrative, world, and characters.
There is also an early bonus for anyone jumping in before launch. Players who pre-order or purchase the game before 20 November will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a collection of in-game items inspired by the neon-soaked era that helped make Vice City iconic.
Digital players will be able to pre-load from 12 November, giving fans the chance to jump in immediately once the game unlocks on launch day.
Physical editions will also support pre-loading through a download code included in the box and will be available from retailers including Amazon, BT Games, Game4U, KOODOO, The Nexus Hub, and Takealot starting 12 November.
Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions are available to pre-order now at a recommended retail price of R1499.99.
At this point, it feels less like a game release and more like the start of an event. Whether you’re here for the chaos, the story, or simply to see what Rockstar has been building all these years, the countdown to Vice City has officially begun.
