This week was a little slow, but there are some awesome rumours going around on the internet, so let’s dive into this week’s geek news.
Rumour has it that Marvel has found a new Thunderbolt Ross in Harrison Ford. This means that we might finally get to see Red Hulk in Captain America: New World Order and the Thunderbolts. In other Marvel news, Blade has been pushed back due to the director dropping out.
Blade will now be released on 6 September, 2024. Deadpool 3 will be out 8 November, 2024. Fantastic Four has been moved to 14 February, 2025 and Avengers: Secret Wars will premiere on 1 May, 2026.
Talking about Marvel, the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finale dropped this week and introduced us to Hulk’s son, Skaar. We also got a little more time with Daredevil. You can go check out my review on YouTube. Also apparently, Keanu Reeves wants to be the new Ghost Rider.
In DC news, Black Adam had its world premiere. I would’ve loved to be there, because I love the energy surrounding the movie. Also, the cat’s out of the bag, Henry Cavill’s Superman is back. The Rock confirmed it himself and he even hinted at a Superman vs. Black Adam movie.
This week also brought us the sad new that Robbie Coltrane passed away. Coltrane was best known for his role as Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies. He also starred in two James Bond movies; may his soul rest in peace.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’s series finale also dropped this week. I will do a separate review for it. Halloween Ends, the last of Michael Meyers also debut on Friday. My review will be out soon.
Finally some wrestling news, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins became the United States Champion on Monday night’s Raw. Bray Wyatt made his Smackdown return, which was awesome. And finally, Adam Copeland aka Edge has been cast as Ares in the Percy Jackson reboot series.
And that’s about it for now. Also check back on Wednesday as I talk about my favourite horror movies. Remember, it’s Spooktober.
