Technology seems to be failing me, or maybe my equipment has run its course.
As a freelance journalist, content creator, writer and aspiring filmmaker, my laptop is more than just a tool – it’s the heart of my work. I use it to write articles and to edit my videos. And most importantly I use it to design my books and to dream up new ideas for future projects. It’s one of two things that can help my creativity flourish.
Unfortunately, my current laptop has reached its limits, slowing down the very work I rely on to share stories, entertain, and inspire. I know no one is any way obligated to support my vision or dreams. I’m just taking a chance and reaching out for your support. Hopefully a handful of you will share my excitement and dreams.
I’m launching a fundraiser to help me purchase a new laptop that can handle my growing workload and keep my creative dreams alive. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring me closer to creating more content, pursuing bigger projects, and ultimately, reaching new milestones.
I know it’s asking a lot but if you’ve enjoyed my work or believe in the power of storytelling, I’d truly appreciate your help on this journey. This year has been a year of growth for me and I can’t wait to reap the fruits of labour and your support in 2025.
I also want to take this opportunity to give back to those who support me. I know a shoutout on social media or my upcoming newsletter isn’t enough, that’s why I’m running the 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar competition. I’ve partnered with some amazing people to give back to our followers, friends and family. More news on that coming soon.
